SHOPPING AT DOOR NYC

 

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.

 

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and Items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

 

Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order will be perfected upon completion of the packing of your order. Once your order is complete you will receive a second email with your tracking number.

 

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out within the Terms and Conditions.

 

Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.

 

We do ask for a standard processing time of up to four business days (not including weekends or holidays) from the time your order is placed. A 'Processing' status means that your order is under review has not yet been shipped.

 

DOOR NYC will occasionally offer pre-orders on some merchandise. At that time, you (the customer) will be asked to pay for merchandise we do not yet have or are yet to be produced. Orders such as these may be subject to cancellations or delays if issues occur in the production or otherwise of the aforementioned merchandise.

 

Merchandise received into stock may be pre-allocated to satisfy pre-orders and customers making pre-orders will receive items in priority to customers ordering through the site for immediate delivery. Please be aware that we may be unable to deliver selected pre-order merchandise due to production problems or quality check issues identified when we receive an order into stock. In these circumstances, we will notify you by email and refund the pre-order payment to your credit/debit card upon being advised that merchandise has become unavailable. Advanced or custom order production times may vary, estimation of which are not the responsibility of DOOR NYC.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

 

You can request an order change or cancellation by emailing here. Your order will be put on hold until we can review your request.

PAYMENT

 

Once we receive your order we will do a standard pre-authorization on your payment method. If the billing information is incomplete, incorrect, or we need further verification we may contact you for confirmation before your order is shipped.

 

SHIPPING, TAXES, AND DUTIES

 

Prices shown on the Site are in US Dollars and are exclusive of taxes and duties. The customer is responsible for all duties/import custom fees.  We are unable to adjust shipping invoices for these purposes as they must reflect the original product value.

 

Customers purchasing internationally may incur the relevant import duty and tax by your local customs office. Please consult your local customs agency for more information. If so, you will be required to pay these fees upon receiving your order. These costs are not included in the final purchase price. We are unable to accept rejected packages and the relevant duties must be paid by the customer to receive the package.

 

If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in US Dollars, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.
